Hello IT Professionals,
Our instructor has been very busy this fall with certification exams and vendor discussions. To learn more about the certification vendor trends and ITCP’s plans for EdCert, please join our presentation at the upcoming WaterCooler on December 5th!
Edcert will close out 2019 with two courses in December. Registration is still open but act quickly to take advantage of this development opportunity.
Dec 2-6 CompTIA PenTest+ [Penetration Testing] (Exam PT0-001) CompTIA $500
This course provides information on the most up-to-date penetration testing, and vulnerability assessment and management skills necessary to determine the resiliency of the network against attacks. The course covers the primary knowledge and skills required to plan and scope an assessment, understand legal and compliance requirements, perform vulnerability scanning and penetration testing, analyze data, and effectively report and communicate results.
Dec 9-13 CompTIA Linux+ (Exam XK0-004) CompTIA $500
This course validates the skills of IT professionals with hands-on experience configuring, monitoring, and supporting servers running the Linux operating system. The new (as of 04/02/2019) exam has an increased focus on the following topics: security, kernel modules, storage & visualization, device management at an enterprise level, git & automation, networking & firewalls, server side & command line, server (vs. client-based) coverage, troubleshooting and SELinux.
