IT Professionals:
As a follow-up to our Infoshare on the IT Pro database revision, IT People (https://itpeople.apps.iu.edu/), please find below a document link to detailed information that recaps how to manage your presence within IT People, covered in ITCP’s Inforshare.

While we have done our best to structure and pre-populate, foundational IT pro and IT unit information within IT People, there will be cases where you as an IT pro have not yet been added to the directory or an IT unit (and are missing a profile). Such cases should be resolved as IT unit managers, directors and leadership refine IT unit membership and other information within the IT units they manage.
Additionally, there may also be IT units that are not yet represented within IT People and need to be created and leadership added to the unit by ITCP. To address these potential issues, and to address general questions and feedback around usability and function of IT People, please complete the survey below. Your input both on specific operational needs or impressions of this new platform is invaluable to us. While we are moving toward full production, IT People is iterative and formative – your input, concerns and suggestions are valued and important!

After ITCP receives and works through your feedback, we will move to finalize the directory pieces of IT People – that is, we will look to ensure that IT units, IT pros within those units, tools assigned to IT pros, departments and buildings are as complete and as representative of our IT environment as possible.
Once we believe the directory of IT People is complete, we will move to activate tools assigned to IT pros. Look for an additional mailing regarding this next and final step.
Thank you all in advance for completing the survey and helping to begin finalizing this important revision of the IT Pro database, IT People!
