IT Professionals,
On Wednesday, November 6 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm, ITCP will host an infoshare about Windows as a Service presented by Brandon Rinkenberger, Stacy Shonk, and Jose Camacaro Latouche from Leveraged Services.
Since the introduction of Windows 10 and Windows as a Service (WaaS), the operating system lifecycle has changed dramatically. Over the course of a single hardware lifecycle, IT Pros may find that they need to update the Windows 10 operating system to a new Feature Update version multiple times. In this presentation, UITS Endpoint Management will update IT Pros on the process for upgrading to subsequent Feature Update releases of Windows 10 via in-place upgrade task sequence in our SCCM environment. The updated task sequence model will provide the following: additional transparency to IT Pros on the reasons for unsuccessful updates, required driver and firmware / BIOS updates for supported models, and decreased downtime while devices are updating.
We hope you will join us in our exploration of this exciting frontier of computing. Bring your curiosity and your imagination.
