IU funds invested more than $750,000 in startups in April and May
IU Ventures, which manages the IU Philanthropic Venture Fund and the Innovate Indiana Fund, invested in four companies in April and May 2020. In May 2018, the Innovate Indiana Fund invested $200,000 in Costello, a sales co-pilot software company. Only a year and a half later, Costello was acquired by Atlanta-based sales engagement platform SalesLoft.
