Full- and part-time undergraduate, graduate and professional students who are currently enrolled and in good standing at IUPUI or IUPUC are invited to an hourlong workshop to learn about the JagStart pitch competition.
JagStart encourages entrepreneurially oriented students to develop their ideas and present them persuasively. During the competition, which will take place in the spring 2018 semester, students will receive constructive feedback from community experts.
A series of workshops has been organized to provide students with an opportunity to ask questions and learn about available resources. The first set of hourlong workshops will take place Tuesday, Oct. 31, in Room 1126 of University Library, 755 W. Michigan St. The first session will take place 10 a.m.-11 a.m.; the second will be 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Identical information will be covered in both sessions, so participants need to attend only one.
Go online to register for either workshop or to request a custom workshop for a class or student organization.
Autumn Fox, an IUPUC senior biology major, won the 2017 JagStart competition and $2,500 for Ecopatch, a garden designed to engage the senses.
