Applications to participate in B-Start, a pre-accelerator program for early-stage technology companies that are run by Indiana University Bloomington and Ivy Tech Community College Bloomington students, are due Friday.
Launched by the Bloomington Economic Development Corp. and supported in part by Innovate Indiana, B-Start involves sessions that begin Sept. 28 and continue throughout the fall in which six to 10 startup businesses are chosen for mentorship and coaching sessions, consultations and informational programs. A pitch day competition is set for Jan. 12, 2017.
This marks the second year for B-Start, which is a finalist for the University Economic Development Association’s (UEDA) Awards of Excellence to be presented at UEDA’s Annual Summit on Oct. 16-19 in Roanoke, Va.
Application forms for B-Start are available here.
