A new opportunity that will expand Indiana University’s influence and expertise nationwide will be launched tomorrow.
The Greater Indiana chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association will be relaunched Friday, Jan. 18, during a meeting at the Indiana National Guard headquarters in Indianapolis. IU is very pleased to be a part of the new organization, both on the advisory board and as a general member.
NDIA is composed of military, government, industry and academic members. The organization provides a platform through which leaders in government, industry and academia can collaborate and provide solutions to advance the national security and defense needs of the nation.
IU expertise in the areas of cybersecurity, the sciences, strategic languages and international studies have made it a leader in national security and defense. Convening strategic partners through the Greater Indiana chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association will certainly result in new projects that will make our university, state and nation stronger.
