The 2018 TechPoint Mira Awards will celebrate the state’s success stories in the technology sector. A record 205 applications were submitted, which were vetted by subject-matter experts and resulted in 116 finalists in 12 categories.
We congratulate Informatics Diversity-Enhanced Workforce, or iDEW. It is a collaborative initiative between Indianapolis-based Arsenal Technical High School, Pike High School, and Providence Cristo Rey High School; community partners; and the IU School of Informatics and Computing at IUPUI. iDEW is one of 11 nominees in the Tech Educator of the Year category. A five-minute video about iDEW is available on the School of Informatics and Computing’s YouTube channel.
TechPoint is an organization that accelerates and promotes the growth of the technology sector in the state. The 2018 Mira Award winners will be named at an April 28 event in Indianapolis.
