Hayleigh Colombo, staff reporter at the Indianapolis Business Journal, will moderate the panel at the 2018 Education-to-Employment Convergence Power Breakfast on Tuesday, April 24. The discussion will be focused on how Indiana can build a talent strategy around a more highly educated workforce.
Colombo covers city government issues, along with economic development and education, for the Indianapolis Business Journal, where she has worked since August 2015. Her coverage at IBJ has been recognized with national awards in investigative, explanatory and small-business journalism from the Alliance of Area Business Publishers and the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.
Colombo graduated cum laude in 2012 from Butler University with degrees in journalism and political science. Previously, she has covered K-12 and higher education, along with small business, manufacturing and agriculture.
The 2018 E2E Convergence Power Breakfast will be 8-10 a.m. Tuesday, April 24, at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W. Maryland St., Indianapolis. Indiana University and the Indianapolis Business Journal are partnering to create the event. There are 200 free tickets available; when they have been claimed, prices will increase to $40 for IBJ subscribers and $50 for nonsubscribers.
