Entrepreneurship knows no bounds, least of all age or industrial/educational sector. The 2017 finalists in the JagStart Elevator Competition are proof.
JagStart, sponsored by the IUPUI Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research, brought together 15 student entrepreneurial teams who pitched their business ideas to a panel of judges. The students came from a wide range of schools including business, engineering and technology, informatics and computing, and science.
Congratulations to Autumn Fox, a senior biology major at Indiana University-Purdue University Columbus. Her pitch for “Ecopatch” won the competition. Fox received $2,500 for earning first prize.
