Several companies with ties to Indiana University, IURTC and Innovate Indiana participated in the 2016 Innovation Showcase on July 13-14.
One was Xylogenics, which is commercializing technology discovered at the Indiana University School of Medicine. We spoke with Matt Kelker, Chief Scientific Officer.
“We are attending Innovation Showcase because we want to gain exposure to venture capitalists to raise funds to expand and grow our business,” he said. “We also receive exposure to all the other technologies here, we get to speak with people we wouldn’t have had the opportunity to do so otherwise, and it offers a chance to catch up with other startups to see how they’re growing, where their challenges are, how we can help and how they can help us.”
