Several companies with ties to Indiana University, IURTC and Innovate Indiana participated in the 2016 Innovation Showcase on July 13-14.
One was NERx BioSciences, which is commercializing technology discovered at the IU School of Medicine. We spoke with Katherine Pawelczak, VP of Research.
“We came to Innovation Showcase to establish our network within the state and meet potential investors,” she said. “We had one-on-one meetings with venture capital firms, received a lot of helpful advice and solicited new additions to our network. Our next step is to secure a Series A round of funding.”
