As Innovate Indiana and other institutions continue to focus on ensuring a smooth transition from education to employment for Indiana college students, a key date to keep in mind is Thursday, Feb. 25.
That’s when more than 20 Indiana colleges and universities — including IU Bloomington, Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis, Indiana University Purdue University Fort Wayne and members of the IU Alumni Association — will participate in a statewide Virtual Career Fair.
The event is free of charge and allows job seekers to meet recruiters online, as well as interact through live chat sessions with employers who seek qualified candidates from Indiana schools.
Industries represented in the fair include engineering, technology, business, accounting, sales management and marketing. Among more than 60 companies signed up for the event so far are CDW, Comcast, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS), Geico, Heartland Dental, Horseshoe Casino, John Deere, Raytheon, Stryker and Westpoint Financial Group.
The event is sponsored by the Career Development Professionals of Indiana, Inc. For registration information, click here:
