Requests for Proposals (RFPs) are now being accepted for the Indiana Spinal Cord and Brain Injury Research Fund.
Established in 2007 by the state of Indiana, the fund fosters and encourages research for the prevention, treatment and cure of spinal cord and brain injuries — including acute management, medical complications, rehabilitative techniques, and neuronal recovery.
Applications to this program should have a maximum requested amount of $80,000 per year and be limited to two years. Eligible principal investigators must be based in Indiana and have the requisite education, skills, knowledge and resources to conduct their proposed research.
The deadline for submissions is 5 p.m. on Dec. 11. For more information, contact Tammy Sajdyk with the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute (CTSI) — who also serves as a “research navigator” for the IU School of Medicine at tsajdyk@iu.edu — or visit the Indiana CTSI Hub, where competition guidelines and application forms are available.
