Hoosiers can get a sneak peak of the latest biomedical advances at this month’s annual meeting of the Indiana Clinical and Translational Sciences Institute.
Registration is open through Sept. 6; the event will take place at Hine Hall on the IUPUI campus.
The keynote speaker is Tadataka (“Tachi”) Yamada, M.D., executive vice president and chief medical and scientific officer for Takeda Pharmaceuticals and past president of the Global Health Program at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Yamada has also been named recipient of the inaugural Watanabe Prize in Translational Research.
Additional presenters will highlight a variety of new opportunities for funding, collaborations and novel technologies available to basic scientists, clinicians and community partners through the Indiana CTSI.
