ILS Professor Selected for EMPOWER Award

Dr. Rongqian Ma, Assistant Professor of Information and Library Science at the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, has been selected for the EMPOWER Program, aimed at supporting junior faculty from historically marginalized groups in securing external research funding. Working with Dr. Manling Luo, an expert in pre-modern and traditional Chinese literature, Dr. Ma plans to explore digital methods for analyzing Chinese poetry and literature.
