CLASS NOTES: IUB GenEd N&M credit; COLL (CASE) N&M Breadth of Inquiry credit
LING-L203 serves as an introduction to basic concepts of linguistic analysis, exemplifying the general principles of structural approaches to the modeling of language. The focus will be on analytical methods applied in phonetics/phonology and syntax/semantics. Work in this honors-level course will involve weekly written homework assignments, two quizzes, an in-class midterm exam, and in-class final exam.
