Course Description
Technology enhances and improves our daily lives in more ways than we are aware. Health-monitoring applications, information at the tips of our fingers, and life-saving advancements in medicine barely scratch the surface. Technology can provide solutions to complex problems such as poverty, injustice, disability, and educational challenges. But because technology is created and designed by humans, it also has its flaws and glitches. We’ll explore how technology can be biased, exclusive, and problematic, but more importantly, what we can do about it. This course introduces you to technology in many career fields and majors, such as criminal justice, psychology, healthcare, humanities, education, fine arts, and more.
Prerequisites
None! No technological expertise or experience required.
