James Peebles, the 2019 Nobel Laureate in Physics, will be delivering the first “Robert E. Pollock Distinguished Lecture” in Myers Hall 130 at 7:30 PM on April 5th. The title of his talk will be “Our Universe is Evolving”. A reception will follow at 9:00pm in the IMU President’s Room.
In this week’s installment of the Physics Colloquium series, he will also present “The Sociology and Practice of Physical Science” on April 6th at 4:00 PM in Swain W. 119.
