Are you interested in picking up a Psychology or Neuroscience major or minor? Do you want to learn more about the knowledge you’ll gain from coursework in the IU Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences and how this knowledge gives you an edge in the job market? Liberal Arts Impact is a series of events that have connected thousands of Indiana University students directly with hundreds of College of Arts + Sciences alumni. This informal event allows you to hear from recent alumni of the IU Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences on how they’ve used their liberal arts education in starting and advancing their careers. These alumni work in a variety of industries and will share ways to strategically leverage the advantage a liberal arts degree has across career fields.
Current faculty from the IU Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences will share how the skills and knowledge they’re teaching in the classroom relate directly to the ever-evolving world of work. They too will illuminate how obtaining liberal arts skills provides a leg up in an unpredictable future job market. This is also a great, low-key event for networking with younger alumni that were in your shoes only a few years ago. Listen live from wherever you are and bring your questions for alumni.
