Our lab investigates the genetics and evolution of developmental plasticity using nematodes as models.
We are currently looking for an undergraduate Research Assistant to oversee our nematode stocks, although there is the potential to develop an independent research project in addition to performing regular duties.
Responsibilities include media preparation, feeding (transferring) the stocks, cleaning cultures, and establishing frozen vouchers. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
Pay is $10.50/hour, and workload is about 10-15 hours/week. Availability during both the summer and academic year is required. The ability to join the lab for several years is preferred, especially for candidates interested in pursuing a research project.
