The Wildlife Watchers Club at IU, or WildClub for short, is a club by and for students who wish to appreciate nature at their own pace in a relaxing and all-welcoming setting. Members of all majors and backgrounds are welcome to join! The only requirements are that you appreciate and respect nature.
The club will:
- Take regular hikes with binoculars and cameras making sure to stay reasonably quiet as not to disturb or scare away the wildlife.
- Participate in events like the Audubon Bird Counts.
- Hold monthly planning sessions to go over safety and brainstorm new ideas.
- Occasionally we will hold documentary/movie nights featuring films and documentaries about animals and their behavior in nature.
This club is designed to be relaxing, fun, respectful, and educational!
If you’re interested, please email Max Scott (maxjscot@iu.edu) with indication that you’d like to participate; be sure to include your name and university email address.
