The Calvi Lab in the Department of Biology at Indiana University, Bloomington is seeking a Research Associate lab manager (https://biology.indiana.edu/about/faculty/calvi-brian.html).
The Calvi lab uses Drosophila as a model system to define mechanisms that regulate cell division, protect genome integrity, and prevent cancer. The position entails conducting experiments and managing the operation of the lab.
BA or BS in biology or a related field, and some type of previous laboratory research experience in cellular or molecular biology required.
New graduates will be considered. Applicants must be well organized, detail-oriented, possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills, and able to work effectively with minimal supervision as part of a research team. Salary commensurate with experience + benefits.
