Located in the Caribbean with a rich ecology, Grand Cayman is an ideal setting for this IU-administered, faculty-led summer program which focuses on the tropical ecology of the island. Participants take a tropical biology course with other IU students and travel on excursions to visit coral reefs, mangroves, and both terrestrial and marine habitats.
- Summer 2020: 5/12 – 5/21
- 3 IU credits (BIOL-L 433, Tropical Biology) with 3 predeparture weekend orientation meetings in Bloomington in the spring and a second Eight Weeks course SPH-I 370 SCUBA Certification available in Bloomington
