New year, new outlooks! Get started on planning ahead with some pertinent events coming up at HPPLC, including:
- Personal Statement Workshop for Applicants to Medical and Health Profession Schools
- This workshop will provide ideas on how to get started early on composing your personal statement for your application to medical school or health profession programs. If you plan to apply to medical school or another health profession program next year, please plan to attend one of these sessions, which will help you begin to formulate ideas for a great personal statement! - Are you concerned about how to pay for your health professions education? David Owen, former director of Admissions and Financial Aid at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine, will talk about how one pays for professional school. He will go over the common sources for funding professional school—loans, scholarships repayment and loan forgiveness programs—and things to be considering when you apply for financial aid for professional school.
