For current students in the College of Arts + Sciences who are Indiana residents and who are studying natural science, applied science, or are engaged in scientific research.
Recipients will receive a $1000 award that is to be applied to their cost of attendance for the spring semester.
This scholarship is not renewable.
Eligibility
To be eligible for the The Verne O. Kling & Dorothy M. Kling Scholarship, you must:
- be a resident of Indiana
- students who are studying natural science, applied science, or are engaged in scientific research
- have full-time undergraduate status in the College of Arts and Sciences
- have a current minimum College of Arts and Sciences GPA of 3.500
Application process and materials
To be considered for this scholarship, you must submit the following application materials by the deadline:
- Application form
- Resume
- Personal statement
- Two letters of recommendation from College of Arts and Sciences faculty members
