Cook Regentec is looking for a student with an interest in gaining real-world experience in a cell and molecular biology laboratory as a summer intern. The intern will perform experiments under the direction of a Senior Scientist in our BSL2 laboratory located at Cook Regentec in Bloomington, IN. The position requires a strong background in biotechnology and experience in aseptic mammalian cell culture techniques is strongly preferred. Familiarity with flow cytometry or ELISA analysis is also helpful. The intern will benefit from a small team working environment to gain experience in executing, trouble-shooting and interpreting biological experiments in support of Cook Regentec’s goal of discovering technologies for enabling cell and gene therapy. A commitment of minimally 25 hours per week for 12 weeks is required.
Compensation is on an hourly basis and exact timing of hours and days are negotiable and may vary depending on experimental needs.
