Travel dates: July 15–August 12, 2018
Excursions: Excursions include the Gisoze Genocide Museum, Akagera Nataional Park (safari tours), Rulindo Cultural Center, trips to lake Burera and more.
Training: Students must complete a 1-credit course (EDUC-L295) in the Spring that will prepare them for the Summer trip. In Rwanda students will receive on-site camp training and Ikinyarwanda language lessons.
Service: Facilitate 2 weeks of camp at the Kabwende Primary School (EDUC-L296, Summer, 2 credits)
Cost: Approx. $4,500 per student (includes airfare, lodging, meals, and excursions). (Estimate $200-$300 for personal spending).
