The EDGE Conference is for anyone working in or interested in academic and career planning at IU. We encourage faculty advisors, career coaches, academic advisors, success coaches, and internship supervisors to join us to learn from colleagues and share ideas. The conference will include a keynote speaker and multiple concurrent sessions; each session will be 50 minutes long. Please think of this as YOUR conference and consider flexible options for participating:
- Problem-solving sessions
- Cross-campus collaborations
- Research presentations and papers
- Workshops
- Working group sessions
- Discussions of shared challenges (consider new or experienced advisor/career professional round-tables about professional growth and challenges)
- Panels
- Group coaching sessions
Proposals should include:
- Name(s), campus(es), and job title(s) of presenter(s) or working group/discussion leaders(s)
- Email and phone
- Primary contact person for the proposal
- Presentation/event title and abstract (150 words or less) describing your event or presentation and what participants will learn or gain from the experience
- Desired format – please feel free to be very creative and consider flexible options
- Any audio/visual/technology needs
- Other information that you want us to be aware of, such as presenter accessibility needs, traveling time, etc.
