When a couple travels to a coastal island to eat at an exclusive restaurant, they and their fellow guests are in for a night of sinister surprises courtesy of the chef and his staff. Written by Seth Reiss (Late Night with Seth Meyers, The Onion) and Will Tracy (Succession, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver) and produced by Adam McKay, Betsy Koch, and Will Ferrell, The Menu features a starry ensemble that includes Ralph Fiennes, Hong Chau, Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, Judith Light, John Leguizamo, and more.
Go behind the scenes of the film with the Hollywood Reporter or watch this panel discussion with Reiss, Koch, and production designer Ethan Tobman at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. You can also check out Reiss and Tracy’s interview with Bon Appétit, or read the official screenplay. Then see the film on IU Cinema’s screen next Friday night!
“A delectable cinematic treat, one that’s consistently smart, funny and engaging.” — Nicolás Delgadillo, Knotfest
The Menu will be screened at IU Cinema on February 17 at 10 pm as part of this semester’s Not-Quite Midnights series.
