The Putnam County Public Library is looking for a Part-Time Reference
Assistant to help patrons with a variety of requests and support needs.
This position will support Adult Reference by performing general tasks and
providing routine assistance to library patrons. Duties include assisting
patrons in finding resources online and onsite, providing patrons with
computer and photocopier/scanner assistance, assisting in reader’s advisory
and/or some collection development work, maintaining some physical
collections (books, DVDs, video games, etc), and other duties as needed.
The position will also support technology services by providing general
user support (basic troubleshooting, online reference, search assistance,
and digital literacy).
