Position Summary
Provides regional network requests for articles, research, and reference materials. Performs daily circulation and delivery of library materials using information technology. Works with titles databases, links databases to full text books and journals for the IU Health Library Network, and serials holdings databases. Provides instructional and technical support for customers and assists with access to online resources.
Qualifications / Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- High School Diploma/GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Database management training, e-Resource management training, Web development training, National Library of Medicine PubMed, and Medical Subject Headings Vocabulary training preferred.
- Requires 0-2 years of relevant library experience.
- Requires experience with database development and management, web development, HTML, and DHTML.
