Join Associate Instructor Jenny Kobiela-Mondor for this one-credit, three-week exploration of book challenges and how to handle them. Class assignments mirror real-world activities, helping you be better prepared for censorship situations. You’ll learn about the current landscape and explore how to confront challenges, address Intellectual Freedom issues, and educate and advocate in their library’s community. Jenny is a former public library assistant director who has experienced book banning and challenges in her career – learn from her experience!
