McClanahan is a LIS professional passionate about the preservation and access of Indigenous collections. She recently moved from an archival role at a university to a collections role at a public library, Multnomah County Library in Portland, Oregon. Her new role includes collection development and selections, planning and implementing the library’s new Indigenous Collection, and collaborating with the library’s Indigenous Team and their outreach initiatives.
