Undergraduate and graduate students play a vital role at the Clinical Optics Research Lab! There are many opportunities for students in various degree programs to contribute to our clinical research projects. In addition to assisting with ongoing lab projects exploring top optical topics like myopia control and asthenopia, students gain real-world clinical experience interacting with research participants.
Students in our lab can be in any of the following Indiana University degree programs:
• Optometry (OD)
• Vision Science (MS or PhD)
• Medicine (MD)
• Cognitive Science (PhD)
• Psychological and Brain Sciences (PhD)
• Developmental Psychology
• Neuroscience (PhD)
If you would like to visit the Clinical Optics Research Lab or learn more about the opportunities available, please contact Dr. Dawn Meyer (meyerd@indiana.edu) or Dr. Nitya Murthy (nimurthy@iu.edu). We look forward to hearing from you!
