Join our team! IUNI and the Observatory on Social Media (OSoMe) are jointly hiring an experienced Program Management Specialist who will work as our Associate Director of Research to grow our centers’ research capacities. You’ll join a dedicated group working to make an impact on society.

We’re looking for someone who has experience applying for external funding in a university context and in post-award management of projects, including budget and reporting. The ideal candidate will directly manage a diverse range of projects which our two institutes work on.

The Associate Director of Research will work directly with IU faculty in developing their cutting edge research proposals and in carrying out a variety of research administration and management issues in successfully conducting research, including managing project-specific teams that cut across university units and include faculty, staff, and students, creating work plans and schedules, and reporting.
