Law Day on Wednesday, October 2!
Law Day is coming on October 2. Law schools from across the country will be here to meet with IU students! The event will also feature a lively panel discussion with law school admissions insiders. Law Day is the most important event of the year for prelaw students, even if you’re not yet an applicant.
What is Law Day?
If you are considering law school, you won’t find a better opportunity to speak with admissions people and learn about the process of getting in. Law Day features one of the largest law fairs in the country, with an incredible 100 schools attending! First-year students through alumni interested in law school are urged to attend.
Law Day Events:
Panel Discussion/Q&A With Law School Directors of Admission
- When: 9:00 AM–10:45 AM
- Where: Indiana Memorial Union, Georgian Room
- What is it? A panel of law school admissions officers from leading law schools, including Indiana University Maurer, will take questions on how to distinguish yourself as a law school applicant. Attendees will learn what really matters and, just as important, what doesn’t work. This may be the most valuable admissions presentation you have the chance to see in person. Come with questions, leave with an advantage.
Law School Fair
- When: 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
- Where: Indiana Memorial Union, Alumni Hall and Solarium
- What is it? Admissions representatives and students from 100 law schools providing materials, information, souvenirs – even fee waivers. We’ll provide you with sample questions you can ask the law schools. Navigate the venue and ask questions about popular programs, admissions requirements, financial aid and more.
