Our model is unique in that electrochemistry is rarely taught in an integrated degree program and our students complete their degree in a paid internship with one of our 40 industry partners in electrochemical science and technology. Over the first three years of the program, this has proven to be a fast and effective route for scientists and engineers looking to launch a career in clean energy (batteries, hydrogen, fuel cells) or advanced manufacturing (semiconductors, plating, metals production). https://electrochemistry.uoregon.edu/masters-internship-program-flyer/
