The Snyder Lab in the Department of Genetics at Stanford University is seeking a part-time clinical research coordinator to assist with an exciting human research study currently underway at Stanford University. Our group is using cutting-edge genome sequencing technology to understand how human genomes vary between tissues. Preliminary data suggests that the DNA in sperm can be different from the DNA in blood or saliva, which has important implications for reproductive health and genetic testing. We are currently enrolling participants to define the genetic variation between these two tissues for the first time with long-read DNA sequencing. You would have an opportunity to be the liaison between the participants and the research lab. This position would be ideal for students interested in medicine and human health. This can be a remote opportunity. For more information, please reach out to Graham Erwin at gerwin@stanford.edu.
