The Phi Beta Kappa Society, the nation’s most prestigious academic honor society, now invites applications for the Society’s undergraduate scholarship program connecting promising arts and sciences students with opportunities in public service. The Key into Public Service Scholarship will award $5,000 undergraduate scholarships and opportunities for networking and job training for up to 20 sophomore and junior liberal arts and sciences students interested in public service careers. Students with majors in the arts, humanities, mathematics, natural sciences, or social sciences are encouraged to apply. Candidate should demonstrate a commitment to academic excellence and an interest in public service or service to others. Characteristics of ideal recipients include intellectual curiosity, interdisciplinary breadth and depth of arts and sciences coursework, leadership propensity, and service to others.
