Nguyen promoted to Senior Lecturer

In April, chemistry faculty member Marie Nguyen was promoted to senior lecturer. Nguyen received her BS in Chemistry in 1983 and her MS in 1993 both from IUPUI. She started as a full-time lecturer at IUPUI in 1994 and added responsibilities as an advisor in the department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology in 2000.

Nguyen’s current main teaching responsibility is in the second semester general chemistry lecture and lab courses, C106 and C126, though she has taught in most of the 100-level chemistry classes. She also has developed and taught student and career development courses, such as Windows on Science and Cornerstone in Chemistry.
