CEES Engages in Cyanobacteria Research

Researchers from IUPUI investigate drought effects on legumes

CEES at the International Symposium on Service Learning
Thanks to a dissemination grant from the IUPUI Center for Service and Learning, researchers Jennifer Nelson, Jessica Davis, and Sarah Goss from IUPUI’s Center for Earth and Environmental Science (CEES) and the Department of Earth Sciences attended the 6th International Symposium on Service Learning (ISSL) at the University of Indianapolis.
Jessica Davis leaves CEES to become IUPUI’s Campus Director of Sustainability
Congratulations, Jessica! We are pleased though a bit sad to share that as of June 1st Jessica Davis has stepped down from Assistant Director at CEES to assume a new role as the IUPUI Campus Director of Sustainability.
Amber Rollings to fill in as Interim Assistant Director
As we say goodbye to Jessica Davis who began as IUPUI’s Director of Sustainability June 1st (see separate post), I am happy to announce that Amber Rollings will be fulfilling the role of Interim Assistant Director of CEES for the summer.
DSE at Paramount School of Excellence
The Discovering the Science of the Environment education staff enjoyed investigating Pogue’s Run with the 5th grade students at Paramount School of Excellence this month. The stretch of stream under study is located between Spade’s Park and Brookside Park on Indy’s near eastside, adjacent to the students’ school.
