CEES participated in the annual White River Festival on September 12th showcasing its exhibit on rivers and sedimentation. The edge of field project at Starkey Farm survived one of the wettest summers on record. During the months of June and July many samples were taken and brought back to the lab for analysis. Jacob and Danielle became very familiar with the site and were often visiting 4-5 times a week.
Jeremy Webber, CEES Research Scientist was elected to the Indiana Water Monitoring Council (InWMC) Board of Directors and will also serve as President of the Council for the next two years. Bug Fest 2015 was a huge success! Everyone had a great time and came away with a better understanding of bats and their role in the ecosystem. We need bats to eat the bugs!
