In May of 2016, a generous $400,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation permitted CEES to begin designing and building a mobile lab equipped with a variety of renewable energy technology. One year later, the new – as yet unnamed – unit made its debut at Brownsburg East Middle School.
Despite recent transitions at the Center, 2016 and 2017 have been a busy time for CEES. Here are a few highlights relating to the Center’s education and outreach efforts.
The Center for Earth and Environmental Science welcomed three new faces in 2016: Dr. Pierre-Andre Jacinthe (Director), Dr. Victoria Schmalhofer (Assistant Director), and Sam Ansaldi MaED (Education Specialist).
