Hydrologic Cycles and Climate Change Workshop to be held this summer at IUPUI.
Dr. Lixin Wang, a faculty member in Earth Sciences at IUPUI, has received an NSF grant to fund his research. As part of this grant, he is able to offer a great summer program for high school teachers that provides a unique opportunity to learn about hydrological cycles and climate change.
The week-long training program runs from June 12-16, 2017, and will be held on the IUPUI campus. Participants will have a mix of lectures, discussions, hands on experience, and field trips. The participants receive a $600 stipend and professional growth points. The program is limited to 10 participants each year.
