What do you like about your job? I like having many different projects to work on, so I’m always doing something different and never get bored. I also don’t sit at a desk all day, and have the chance to get up and move around and try new experiments and activities for kids. I like having face-to-face education time with kids.
What transferable skills are you gaining? Personal Development, Teaching/Instruction Others, Multi-Tasking, Service Orientation (actively looking for ways to help others), Monitoring (self, others, or situations), Organizational skills, Interpersonal skills, Planning, Project Management
Why do you suggest other students get part-time jobs while at school? Having a job while in school helps build job experience that will help you get a job after graduation. Even if you think your job isn’t related to what you want to do, you can learn valuable skills that employers will look for.
Post-graduation Plans: Continuing in informal science education, probably in museum settings.
