Junior Psychology student Emma Smith works for hhgregg. Through this position, she has developed better communication and time management skills. In this position, Emma has “learned how to better communicate with people and understand [their] problems and find ways to help them.” She likes that her job affords her the ability to work with many different people and that she is able to sell different things. In addition to her improved communication skills, her ability to effectively balance school, work, and social activities has allowed her to demonstrate her time management skills. After graduation, Emma plans on going to grad school and in 10 years sees herself as “either [an] FBI or CIA criminal profiler,” though her dream job is to become a trauma surgeon. Emma has big aspirations and we wish her all the best!
