Being a first-year student hasn’t stopped Kristin Russell from getting an early start on the career path she plans to pursue! As a media school student, Kristin’s dream job is to work in a large media firm in a big city. Because she wanted to gain relevant experience right away, she applied to be on the Career Development Center’s Media Team and landed the job! Kristin saidboth her teamwork and organizational skills have been tried and tested in this position. In her own words, “to be able to work with a group successfully is an important skill that most employers look for and it will help me in any job after I graduate.” All in all, Kristin enjoys the creative freedom that comes with being on the Media Team, and she’s optimistic about what her future holds both academically and career wise!
