To make your resume stand out takes time and skill. It’s tough to look at a Resume briefly and upgrade it to stand out. Put in time and effort to learn how to write a bullet point for Resumes, and understand how to format them.
My recommendation is to think through the entire process from the other side of the table. Have the mindset of a recruiter or interviewer, and think how would ato you. The people reviewing your Resume, notice details and information in the same way you do. So think how a to you, and craft it in a professional matter.
Research Your Industry
It’s also important to research the industry your applying to. The peopleare doing work on a day to day basis in that industry, find out what stands out to them in the industry. This might be tough, but if you can figure out an angle that’s professional, it can make the difference to getting the interview.
Research Previously Successful Candidates
Another recommendation I have is to research other candidates who have the position you want. These candidates were clearly successful in achieving what you want to do, follow in their footsteps. If it worked for them, it can work for you.
