Women Make Movies, a multicultural, multiracial, non-profit media arts organization, announces the release of a new film, Africa Rising: The Grassroots Movement to End Female Genital Mutilation.
Directed by Emmy Award® winner Paula Heredia and produced by Equality Now, Africa Rising follows the story of a grassroots movement to end the 5,000 year old practice of female genital mutilation.
